A veteran of the financial world, Colleen Knapp brings over 40 years of planning experience to personal and business clients. Recruited to the Deloitte Manhattan headquarters immediately after Cornell, she has enjoyed being at the forefront of the financial services industry throughout her career. As the founder of Transparent Wealth Consulting LLC, Colleen provides individuals, families, and business owners with a truly customized and comprehensive planning experience.
While she thrives in a spectrum of financial disciplines, Colleen specializes in providing tax-efficient solutions for each of her clients. Her unique planning process is founded on total transparency, prompt responsiveness, and a proactive approach to anticipating client questions and needs. Above all, she focuses her expertise on helping clients take the guesswork out of their financial lives so they can stay focused on what matters most.
A native of New York, Colleen earned her Bachelor of Science in Industrial Labor Relations and Accounting from Cornell University. In addition to her FINRA Series 6, 7, 24, 26 & 65 securities registrations.
Colleen is actively involved in her community, the Cornell Alumni Association, Rochester Oratorio Society, St. Louis Church, St. Louis Choir and Grace Notes Chorale. An avid female tenor, she has sung around the world including in Paris, Dublin, Rome, Milan, Orvieto, Normandy Beaches, Greece and across the United States. Outside of the office, Colleen enjoys Jazz Fests, exercising, traveling, reading, learning, art, gardening and spending time with family and friends.
